What is Hydroseeding?
Hydroseeding involves creating a mixture of water, seeds, wood fiber mulch, fertilizer, and bonding agents in a Hydroseeder tank to create a thick slurry, then using a hose to spray it onto prepared soil. This process ensures even coverage, and promotes fast germination. It’s perfect for small areas, erosion control, and hard-to-seed areas, providing quick results with minimal lawn compaction.

When your new lawn reaches a height of about 3 to 4 inches, it is officially ready for its first cut. For this initial mow, ensure your mower blades are sharp and set the deck high—removing only the top third of the grass blade.
